About me…
In 1994, aged 16, I selected my ‘A’ levels - Psychology, Sociology and Physics. From an early age, learning more about the human mind and condition, life and behaviour, and how the natural and physical world co-exist was a true passion.
It would be in my Psychology lessons that I would first come across ‘Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs’; what he believed motivated human behaviour. That is where I first heard this phrase, ‘Self Actualisation’ or fulfilling your true potential or purpose.
Alongside running my own business since 2011, I have spent my whole life on the sea either teaching or skippering boats for private clients. My current highest qualifications are Cat 1 Commercial Yachtmaster Offshore (motor) and I’m an active RYA Cruising, Advanced Powerboat and shorebased Navigation, First Aid, VHF/SRC and Diesel Engine instructor. Oh, and I run a little event that walks around Menorca each year called ‘Saltwalk Menorca’.
At home my main passion is fitness, writing and watching series and films. I believe in a Value-driven life with my priorities being Honesty, Fortitude, Wisdom, Gratitude and Love.
Every human interaction has a great opportunity for growth when we find who we’re meant to grow with. I believe we all meet people for specific reasons so, if you’ve come across my website, I know we can build great things together.
Some 30 years later, having worked in the Security, Rescue, Education and Maritime sectors, I made the decision to formalise my passion and qualify as a Life Coach. With my broad reaching life experiences, travel and meeting so many different types of people, I came to the realisation that ‘planning’, ‘navigating’ and ‘delivering’, often in high stress, high stakes, situations had become second nature to me. A toolbox that is much better shared.
In 2022, I began posting positive and empowering message on social media and built quite a large organic following. In 2024, I delivered my first public speaking motivational event called ‘Disrupt & Pivot’. I qualified as a Jay Shetty Certified Life Coach in
